United States Gypsum completed a 620,000 square foot industrial complex which manufacturers wallboard from synthetic gypsum, the byproduct produced from PPL's adjacent scrubber process. MKA provided land development services which included wetland delineation, erosion and sedimentation control plan, highway occupancy permits, zoning permits, wetland mitigation design, stormwater design, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, design, construction and as-built surveys and construction inspection.
This is a MKA design/build project. Efforts resulted in the replacement of a narrow 2 lane, 4-span through truss structure over the North Branch of the Susquehanna River.
