Tommy T. Edwards founded Tommy T. Edwards Surveyors in 1975 shortly after obtaining his professional licensure from the Texas Board of Public Surveyors. It has been in continual operation and was converted into Edwards Surveying, LLC, in 2004 after his son, Davey Edwards, obtained his licenses in Texas and Oklahoma. Tommy T. Edwards is now the president of Edwards Surveying, LLC.
Edwards Surveying, LLC, continues to operate as a land surveying company working in the rural areas of north central Texas serving Wise, Jack, Montague, Cooke, Denton, Tarrant, and Parker Counties. Edwards Surveying primarily works on large and small boundaries, estate subdivision, and small rural subdivision plats. Tommy Edwards still continues to provide turn-key land surveying out of his office located at the northwest corner of the square in downtown Decatur at 208 West Walnut Street, Decatur, Texas, 76234.
