Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems are a relatively new form of unmanned aerial vehicle gaining interest for non-military uses. Chustz Surveying, LLC stands apart from other surveying companies in many ways, one of which is we own all the equipment and technology required to get the job done right. We have the right tools and the necessary equipment to provide the best high-accuracy geophysical surveys possible.

Here at Chustz Surveying, LLC, we have invested in the latest LiDAR technology to continue to set the standard for surveying. Using the latest hardware and software, our trained professionals are able to provide clear and accurate information. As a leader in the surveying industry, we are experts in boundary surveying as well as route surveying.

The Riegl RiCopter is an Unmanned Aerial System equipped with the Riegl VUX-SYS, a complete miniaturized airborne laser scanning system.
The VUX-SYS consists of a Riegl VUX-1UAV which is a lightweight and compact laser scanner that has survey-grade accuracy (5mm), an Applanix inertial measurement unit (IMU) which has an extremely high (200 Hz) and accurate (0.015° Roll/Pitch, 0.035° Heading) update rate for reporting velocity, pitch, rol.

M/V Cindy Marie is the latest addition to the Chustz Surveying Fleet.
Joining the fleet in the summer of 2010 the boat is a 28'-6 LOA survey platform for both inland and coastal waterway use.
This boat was designed and custom built to CSI's direct specifications as a survey vessel conforming to all of the requirements of the most current hydrographic survey standards.
The frame structure complies with USCG 33 CFR S.
