Kelley Engineering & Surveying is a small local firm offering services in Civil Engineering design and Surveying. The company consists of Matt Kelley the Principal Engineer, Trudy Kelley, Principal in charge of scheduling, billing, and general business, T.J. Kelley, Associate Engineer, and Elijah Vinculado, Assistant Engineer. Mr. Kelley has over thirty years of experience in Civil Engineering and Surveying.

Mr. Kelley also has three years of public experience with the Engineering Division of the City of Hollister where he designed and managed the construction of several airport projects, as well as the 2004 street overlay project. If your project starts with a boundary survey, topographic survey, or both Kelley Engineering & Surveying is equipped and experienced to handle it.

We use a Trimble R-10 GPS System and a Trimble S6 Robotic Total Station for accurate measurements. We also offer Aerial Photogrammetry with our DJI Phantom 4 Drone. Providing Civil Engineering services and successfully completing projects in the most comprehensive and cost efficient manner possible are the core responsibilities of Kelley Engineering and Surveying.
Services
Project included pavement overlays, storm drain improvements and curb replacement to repair poor street conditions and a serious drainage problem.
Kelley Engineering along with Huboi Architecture, Marcus Building Systems, and Anita Kane Landscape Architecture designed and constructed San Benito County's First LEED-certified "Green Building" for the local organic seed company Enza Zaden USA.
Kelley Engineering designed the site, grading, drainage, and improvement plans.
Project involved a use permit application with site review.
Plats and legal descriptions were prepared to adjust the lot line between Second Street and the Mission property.
Kelley Engineering & Surveying was hired by HNTB Corporation to survey 36 railroad crossings from Palo Alto to Gilroy as part of the VTA safety improvement project.
All survey crew members are qualified as EIC's and watchmen by Caltrain.
Kelley Engineering & Surveying provided traditional construction staking for the underground improvements as well as 3D digital terrain models for the machine control grading of the storage ponds.
Aerial Photogrammetry utilizes photographs to measure topography(ground elevations, contours, etc.) and planimetrics (streets & building locations, etc).
These photographs have been historically taken from planes at altitudes of greater than 1000 feet.
Recently the technology behind radio-controlled model aircraft aka "Drones" has opened the market to low-altitude photogrammetry.
